A 1600 mile epic tour of arguably the best scenery in the UK, our 8 day tour of Scotland incorporates 3/4-star hotels and country houses with fantastic food and the joy of biking and sightseeing. This is luxury biking at its best!
Based for 4 nights at the beautiful Gairloch Hotel on the coast in the Western Highlands, we will venture to all points of the compass for amazing fish & chips at the Kylesku Hotel in the far North to Applecross in the South West.
Averaging 200 miles per day, with regular stops for drinks and leg stretches, we will visit many historic places. Highlights including the Russian Arctic Convoy museum and memorial, several lighthouses designed and built by the brothers of Robert Louis Stephenson of Treasure Island fame. We will also (hopefully) witness salmon jumping at Shin Falls and a picnic for lunch one day.
