CATALONIAN ADVENTURE

Some of the best roads in Europe can be found in Spain, long sweeping roads that disappear into the distance surrounded by majestic mountains, forested National Parks and virtually no traffic, the place is idyllic, especially for bikers.

We are combining this with some of the most historic and beautiful buildings in Spain which are national treasures.

These buildings have been restored and converted to hotels whilst keeping their original character and charm.

The Spanish Paradors.

This is a multi-venue trip starting in the UK and heading to Spain via ferry to Santander. Our first stop is the Parador in Gijon which is a great jumping off spot for the Picos, we will spend three nights in Gijon and there will be two guided rides into the Picos and National Park.

Once we leave the Pico's we will be circumnavigating Spain via 8 other beautiful Paradors and visiting various other national treasures along the way, including the anciant Roman aquaduct in Sergovia,1 night in each.

There will be 2 2 nights stays, one in Toledo and one in Argomaniz which is just south of Bilboa. There will be trips into both Toledo and Bilboa.

We will sample local and traditional dishes in several locations but primarily eating at the Paradores in the evening, the quality of their food and wine is excellent.

The Parador Tour combines fabulous roads, Spanish national treasures, local and traditional food and some stunning vista's.

Mike and I did much of this Tour in 2023 and I cannot wait to get back there....the suckling pig in the restaurant right next to the Segovia Viaduct is divine.
